We know that trying something new, especially something like pole dancing, can be intimidating. Here's what to expect when you walk into the studio for the first time:
You will need:
- A top that is comfortable and easy to move in. During our yoga warm up we do a lot of upper body stretches.
- A pair of shorts that stop mid-thigh, or a pair of shorts that stop above your knees and can be rolled up to mid-thigh. When we climb, this will help you grip the pole.
- No shoes are allowed in the studio, so we recommend coming with shoes that are easy to take on and off. Bare feet are recommended during class. Socks are acceptable, but be warned that you may slide too much.
- Do not apply hand or body lotion the day of class.
