Dakini Sensual Movement was created by Jeanine Caparoso. She is a passionate and lifelong student of many different styles of dance and yoga. As a yoga instructor, Jeanine began learning about the Dakini, and was inspired by the ancient texts that speak of the power of feminine energy. Jeanine was also an instructor for the renowned pole fitness company, S Factor, where she studied the art of pole dancing. With an insatiable appetite for pole movement and dance, Jeanine practiced with world champions, and continues to be inspired by aerial acrobatics. Jeanine developed Dakini as a way to share the empowerment of sensual movement and has helped scores of women celebrate their femininity is a fun, safe, and empowering way.

Ariel started her pole dance and aerial journey over fiver years ago. She came across Dakini and took her first class on her birthday and fell in love with the studio and the movement, empowerment, and freedom that it embodies. Ariel was classically trained at Joffrey Ballet in New York City and Koresh Dance Company in Philadelphia. Her training has granted her a scholarship at Drexel University to be part of Drexel’s Dance Ensemble and Dance Team. Her training in dance technique has enabled her to become more ambitious and developed her skills as a performer and instructor here at Dakini.

Elizabeth has been dancing for over 25 years. She has a background in formal ballroom dancing and ballet. Elizabeth was introduced to pole dancing through a mutual friend during her time spent working in the field of circus arts. She took her first class in 2008, fell in love and purchased a pole the following day. She has attended classes all over the world and studied under some of the most prestigious pole athletes. She has been teaching for approximately eight years and is excited to be a part of the beautiful community that is Dakini.
